Cassie, a very well known needle artist from San Diego and a longtime friend of PFOS, will be here to teach this retreat which features her enchanting line of eclectic Southwestern canvases and her beads! For 30 years, Cassie, Tish (her former partner) and Nandra, Cassie’s daughter, have been developing innovative stitch techniques and fabulous beading theories.  You will learn many tips as well as have a delightful time in this retreat!  Be prepared for vibrant colors, delightful stitches and fascinating beadwork in your needlepoint project. The weekend will kick off on Thursday evening (April 30) with a welcome party and shopping at Pocket Full of Stitches.  Classes will be 10 - 4 Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, 10 -2 , we will have a stitch-in with help for your own or another new Sundance canvas of your choice.
Price of this retreat is $290. This does not include your canvas or threads for the class. Kelly Clark of Kelly Clark Designs will be here with her delightful array of canvases.  Kelly is so vivacious and brimming with ideas for canvas enhancement, you will definitely “catch” her enthusiasm for stitching. Her charming canvases show her personality with details and stitch painted techniques.   You will learn fun techniques and tips for all of your canvases!  Choose your favorite canvas or canvases from this charming line, and we will kit the threads and stitch guide for you!  Then, enjoy three days of classes and stitching with Kelly.  On Sunday, you may bring your own Kelly Clark canvases and get tips from her on stitches and threads!!

The weekend will kick off on Thursday night (August 6) with a Welcome party and shopping at Pocket Full of Stitches! Classes will be Friday and Saturday, 10 -4. On Sunday,10 - 2, we will have shopping at the store and more stitching!

*** Please note that Airfare and Hotel Rooms are not included in the retreat fees. We have booked a block of rooms for the retreat at the Marriot Courtyard which is close to the store. www.marriott.com 1-806-795-1633.  Cost of the double rooms or king rooms is $99.99 + 13% taxes.  A full breakfast is served each morning in their gathering room and there are five restaurants nearby for Saturday night dinner.  PFOS will have a hospitality room at the Marriott on Saturday evening.  We thought it better that you make your own arrangements, so that you can have exactly the right arrangements for your needs, roommates of choice, etc We would be glad to help you find a roommate from our attendees list if you would like!

Friday, May 1 or August 7, 10-4: Class at Pocket Full of Stitches                

                           6:30-???  Dinner for our attendees and their guests.  More information later

Saturday, May 2 or August 8, 10-4: Class at Pocket Full of Stitches   Dinner on your own

                           7:30-???  Stitch- in at the hotel

Sunday, May 3 or August 9, 10-2: Class at Pocket Full of Stitches.
