Let Me
Count the Ways
At PFOS, we are belt-crazy! So many
wonderful designs are available that we have a really
hard time resisting belt canvases at markets.
Also, there is just something fun and soothing about
stitching a belt! We have found, though, that
we don't always want to wear them around our waist -
so... where else can you wear a
needlepoint belt?
From the top of your head to the
tip of your toes, and a few places in between! Pocket
Full of Stitches has wonderful finishers for many styles
of belts, shoes, hatbands, purses, bracelets - all made
from belt canvases! Here are a few ideas:
1.Hatbands
- for a summery, straw topper to stylish felt fedora!
2.Belts
- traditional buckle, ribbon tied, slide buckle, and
fringe tied.
3. Purses
- Wrap around a straw purse, assemble strips of belt to
form a purse front, or make the belt a unique handle!
4. Bracelets
- use your leftover strips and have a cuff bracelet!
5. Shoes,
shoes, shoes!!! Criss-crossed, thonged, or
as slides - there are many ways to "shoe your
belts"!!
One of our newest favorites is the casual look on rubbor
soles! Fast, fun and affordable!! To entice
you even more, visit the following pages to see shoe
ideas and belt canvases - The ladies at PFOS have all
succumbed and are stitching their belts for their rubber
soled thongs. "Belt Fever" is contagious -
join us in the excitement today!!
